The Magnets Used in Biomagnetism
About the Magnets
There are three different types of magnets we use in Biomagnetism: neodymium, ferrite, and speaker magnets. Neodymium magnets are circular and ferrite magnets are rectangular.
Personally I use all three kinds of magnets because I think they each have their advantages, but the speaker magnets are generally the strongest. They are also convenient to use in biomagnetic pairs in which the magnets must be placed adjacent to one another. The speaker magnets specifically made for biomagnetic therapists are only available in Mexico. The red indicate the positive polarity and black to indicate the negative polarity.
